The Advancing Critical University Studies in Africa (ACUSAfrica) network invites applications for a programme coordinator, which is a part-time contract position. Please share this invitation widely


ACUSAfrica Network Coordinator Functions

The ACUSAfrica network connects scholars across the globe with an interest in re-imagining the University and how we study it. The role of the ACUSAfrica coordinator, situated within the University of Ghana, is to hold together this network and the various projects within its ambit.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage communications through email, website etc.

  • Track progress of projects and activities and maintain high-level overview of network

  • Ensure project deadlines are met through reminders and creation of timelines

  • Support planning and coordination of the network and its project and activities

  • Schedule and organize meetings for coordination purposes and maintain agenda

  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings

  • Prepare paperwork and order material

  • Keep updated records and create reports or proposals

  • Support growth and project development

  • Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
