The ACUSAfrica Conference 2024 at Makerere University, Kampala, was more than just a gathering; it was a space of critical engagement, shared visions, and transformative conversations about the future of African higher education. Now, we’re excited to announce that all those moments have been captured and are available for everyone to access!
For those who attended and want to relive the experience—or for those who couldn’t make it but want to engage with the conference content—we have compiled a folder filled with photos and videos from the event.
You can access the full folder here
And you can watch all the sessions on the CriSHET YouTube page here

The conference, themed Leveraging Critical University Studies Towards the Practical Pursuit of an Afrocentric University, was held from the 16th until the 19th of October 2024. It included a doctoral academy on the methodology of the World Cafe, EASHESD Curriculum Validation Workshops, keynote presentations by Prof Damtew Teferra and Dr David N. Tshimba, and a wide variety of presentations covering themes such as " Practical Articulations of the Ontology of an African University" and "Technology, Digitalisation and Commercialisation in African Higher Education".

We encourage you to browse, share, and continue the conversation. These images and videos serve as a testament to the work being done to advance Critical University Studies across the continent.
